    coaching work?

How does it work?

The coaching relationship usually starts with an
intake/strategy session where you spend several hours laying the groundwork for the working sessions ahead.  My preference is to do this in person, though it can also be done by phone.

The ongoing working sessions may occur in person or by phone.  The schedule is one that is mutually agreeable. 

A common format is
three forty-minute sessions each month.  For other clients, bi-weekly sessions of an hour each are a better fit.   Between sessions, email may be used to report on status or raise emerging issues.


During coaching sessions,
you can expect:

  • A sounding board
  • Powerful questions
  • Alternative perspectives
  • Requests for action plans
  • Tools, structure and accountability
  • Opportunities for learning and growth
  • Encouragement and acknowledgement!

Between session assignments
are designed to:

  • Generate energy
  • Establish practices
  • Build new capacities
  • Deepen the learning
  • Achieve meaningful action

Coaching sessions may occur in person or by phone.
